The history of mysticism recounts experiences of union with Ultimate Reality. Mysticism’s approach of Oneness aligns perfectly with Unity teachings, and restates the first basic Unity principle of One Presence and One Power. Many stories of mystical experience contain elements of healing, transcendence, and openness.
Mysticism finds the common ground among the religious traditions of the world, and gently dissolves barriers amongst religions, building up inter-religious understanding. The shared values of the religions of the world demonstrate the common foundation of spiritual truth. There are practical reasons to embody the mystic paradigm. Join us this Sunday to consider ways to explore the entire universe as an undivided, connected, and unified whole. Mysticism invites us to change reality through changing our inner thoughts.
